Where do the prices come from?
From the Promptopoly gateway: the current provider price for each model, rounded up to whole cents per call (at least 1 cent), plus the 10% service margin. The numbers on this page are not examples — they use the same calculation chain as the product. The plans around it: Free 0 €, Plus 8 €/month, Pro 15 €/month — details in the pricing.
What is stored when I calculate?
Nothing. The calculation is a plain server response. Only when you enter your email above and click the link in the confirmation email does an entry land in our list — with source, calculator inputs and timestamp; IP and browser identifiers are stored only as a hash.
How does the budget stop work?
In the gateway you set a hard budget per tenant. Once reached, calls are blocked before they cost anything — not after. Without that cap, a faulty client, an endless loop or abuse keeps running until someone notices.
Is the cost check an LLM cost calculator?
Yes. The cost check is a calculator for LLM costs: you enter clients, calls and tokens, and the calculator works with the gateway's live prices. No sample values — the same calculation chain as in the product.
Can I bill the calls through to my clients?
That is exactly what the separate tracking is for: the gateway keeps a record of every call per tenant and per project, so you can bill and pass on the costs per client — instead of one bulk invoice you have to split yourself at the end of the month.
